I won’t be able to add many images to this blog for several reasons. First , Ojars’ camera has developed serious problems ,so I have lent him my camera to document the symposium and conference. Second, my computer has too many images on it to allow for many additional downloads from my camera. Third, I am not very adept at downloading images from my smartphone to the computer. So that means I will continue to blog but it , unfortunately ,will consist mainly of text. I apologize. You can go to Facebook, under various names and contacts to access many images of what is happening here at Pedvale. I believe that the conference website has a Facebook account as well ,where images and other info can be found. It strikes me, at this point, that this blog is , at least, redundant if not meaningless. I will none-the-less continue to post just so my website has some new content. I can manage to tweet images without too much difficulty so , if you are interested in my take on all of the happenings and events here you should check out my tweets on the website or  follow me on Twitter. I tweeted 2 images of my symposium sculpture “Pedvale Lightening” a few minutes ago.

The weather has been consistently cold and rainy ever since the last pour and today was especially cold! Not the best weather to be working in the park, but Ojars has managed to get much done. Liz and Ben have almost finished all of the installation work on their sculpture as has Dan Postelion. Victor’s sculpture is installed ,as is Kens’s and  mine.  Tamsie is well on her way to completing her installation, so that only leaves Arran, Paige and Ojars himself to install. Pretty remarkable, considering that we did the last pour only 2 days ago!! More and more conference people are showing up every day.  They are folks who are doing performances or demonstrations and need to get work done before the conference. The park is filling up with people and projects. Keep following.

it’s not meaningless or redundant for those of us that do not use facebook. Thanks for keeping us informed out here on the fringes…
